hiiii 🫶🏾 I super love this article! It's taken me a long to get clear on what my "thing" is because I've done a lottt over the years even tho I'm only 26, but now that I'm clear on who I am and whose I am (major key!) I'm going full steam ahead.
I plan to continue to grow my personal brand to scale my consulting and coaching and once that gets to a good spot in revenue, I plan to follow exactly what you mentioned and fade into the background so I can focus on other areas of my life. It's giving work smarter not harder - thank you for this newsletter!
Needed this! Definitely interested in the cash-cow & investment portion. I help underrepresented children develop social, emotional, and intellectual skills. Currently I have two children books out and just started offering workshops to schools but, I struggle with coming up with true scalable plans that’ll both make impact in the community and make revenue
Definitely needed this! I’m in this same space. Grew a YouTube platform and it’s the primary source for my new clients in my salon but I want a business that doesn’t require me to show up to work and do hair or even be obligated to put out YouTube videos of myself all the time! I’ll be following along your journey for sure. Thanks for sharing!

I was definitely as you said, biting at the first opportunity to make money by adding services that increases my input but would make it harder to scale. It has been freeing to say no to projects that no longer serve the current and future goals for my business.
I may make less revenue in the beginning of this transition but I am honoring the mission and vision for my company and your newsletter today resonates with where I am right now :)

I have been following your journey and success which has been very inspirational. I'd love to hear more about how you found your business mentor as that is something that I am currently seeking to scale within my own business as well.
Hey Erin… I’ve been following you for a while now. I love what you are doing and I love your content. When I say I can relate… whewww on another level. I have a 2yr old and a 3 month old. I took 2yrs off work to basically be a mom full time. The time is sooo precious, I didn’t want to miss it. But I’m a former hairstylist, turned real estate agent and I also do branding & web design for businesses. Now my only thoughts are, how can I scale this business and make it work for me so that I can spend more time with my babies and do what I love. I definitely am following more people like you who are aligned with what I’m doing and what I want to keep myself encouraged
