figuring it out era.
oh yeah, i'm back. :)
Oh heyyy!
I already know what you’re thinking, so let’s just save the small talk. I’m back and thankfully my fingers still work because it’s really been that long.
I’m currently taking my own advice and officially entered my Figure One Thing Out at a Time era. The phase where I try to actually organize all of my creative ideas and determine a doable game-plan of how to not continuously create more work for myself with my compounding creative ideas. Being creative is not for the weak.
I’d been feeling uncomfortably unclear on which direction I wanted to take my brand (which I shared at a nauseating amount in this newsletter). The more ideas I came up with, the more unclear I became on what deserved my focus. It sent me into a spiral of questions…
Do I want to continue prioritizing my personal brand as a content/brand strategist? Should I pivot and lean into other parts of myself, like mainly showing the process of building the product businesses? Do I want to start an agency? Have I outgrown my current branding and offers? Should I cancel my membership club? Should I start a podcast? Do I mainly focus on SubStack and building my email list? Do people still even like my content?
It was just… a never-ending cycle. 0/10 don’t recommend.
Until one day, it all clicked. And that’s when I decided to take it one thing at a time. Which honestly feels like a disservice to your creative self in the moment. Will the world crumble before I get to pour into this other random idea that I believe can be my billion-dollar business? And ya know what I had to tell myself: if it does, it wasn’t meant to be. Erin, get a grip before everything slips away.
That left me with only one option: pausing my presence in some spaces so that I could focus on the big picture.
First order of business: Business Structure and Offers
Decided to keep my membership club (even shocked myself with this one)! See, nothing’s ever final in this brain of mine. No but seriously, I realized I didn’t outgrow it — I just needed to reposition how I share it. I absolutely LOVE having a community. But it needed new life breathed into how I run it, which required a fresh system for member enrollment that I’ve never had. In addition to all of that, I really enjoy the predictability of the subscription model. So keeping this offer just made sense. I am excited to try out some new automations and flows to create a smooth system that keeps members flowing in, and doesn’t overwhelm me.
The ultimate goal: treat Creator College as something bigger than Erin. Have specialists (Think: Pinterest marketer, storytelling expert, podcast pro, LinkedIn expert) who members have access to to audit content & host live workshop according to their speciality. I also really want to host exclusive member events, bomb merch, and so much more! We are thinking BIG.
We mapped out what the basic system looks, which I’m happy to share in much more detail once I determine if it actually works well! Used my fave whiteboard because Asana don’t always cut it for me. (hey to all my visual girlies!)
Decided to stop treating Simplement & Co (my planner company) like a sidehustle and really go full force.
We’re even launching a brand new product (that I’ve been teasing for far too long)! Eek! Any guesses?
Considering hiring a social media manager to take over the S&Co. Instagram. One less thing on my (very full) plate.
Decided to launch a personal branding agency in 2026!
I have such a clear vision for the type of agency this will be. My biggest focus right now is to make sure we are smooth sailing with everything else before throwing myself into agency life. Because, whew.
Second order of business: Content
Which content matters most? What’s my long-term goal? Do I want to be creating content when I’m 50 in the same capacity that I am now? How do I prioritize sustainability with my content? Do I want to create YouTube videos anymore? Should I focus on generating leads with my content or building community? Ughhh so many questions… that I finally have the answers too.
I’ll share them in my next newsletter ;)
Simply put, showing up for yourself doesn’t always mean showing up in public. Sometimes you gotta map things out and figure out which direction you’re going, so that when it’s time to show up in public — you’re ready to slam your foot on the gas (and keep it there).
Are you in your figure it out era? Do you have a hard time focusing on one thing at a time? Let’s chat!!
Bye for nowww xx

Q&A with my manager as I was getting ready to speak at Create & Cultivate!!! It’s the largest festival for women in business and I was a part of a AMAZING panel! In this Q&A I share how to land opportunities like this, and how to evolve as an influencer so that you have longevity and legacy.
Currently lovin’
Currently lovin’ these Meta Rayban’s
Honestly yall… these shocked me. This isn’t sponsored either. I bought them for Cameron’s bday (secretly for the both of us lol). We’ve been playing around with them and the video quality is wayyy better than I expected. The stabilization is incredible and the video clarity is unexpectedly good. It performs best in great natural light but even in low light, they’re not bad. Perfect for pov shots and also if you want to discreetly record a moment (like when I’m playing with River and don’t want to pull my phone out). 10/10 — Exact pair linked here

Omgoodness Erin. I needed to read this — specifically from YOU. I’ve been following you on YouTube for a long time and it was far before I took my biggest entrepreneurial leap. Now that I’m in the flow, I can easily question the game plan and I feel obligated to share out loud while figuring it out which brings so much anxiety and even imposter syndrome. There are so many new ideas to explore and this truly helped confirm what I should do, unapologetically. Cheers to the Figure It Out Era!
That makes the two of us because the way my ideas keep compounding with little to no focus! And don’t get me started on execution! After auditing my July, slow and steady progress was made so leaning in to testing and iterating one of my most promising ideas in August!
