Welcome to Brand Buzz! I decided that I want to regularly share a roundup of what’s happening on social and in the marketing world. Things change daily so I’m compiling my favorite updates for you here (with a sprinkle of my take, because… duh).

So if you’re an influencer trying to stay on your A-game, a business owner who wants to stay tapped into what’s happening on social media, or somewhere in between – I gotchu! The newsletter will always be broken into 3 main parts so that it’s always easy to scan.

What’s Trending: Signature Series

What is it:

I know I’m not the only one who notices that everybody and their mama has a signature series on Instagram and Tiktok. And I’m actually here for it! A signature series is a recurring content theme or format that you create and share regularly on your platform. And baby, they have become all the rage for good reason! This is the perfect way for creators and brands to keep their audiences engaged long-term. It’s like your own personal TV show, but without the commercials.

Why they work:

This is gold because it establishes a recognizable format that your community can look forward to, turning your page into a source of regular, valuable content. Plus, the predictability and consistency make it easier for followers to form a habit of checking in, which helps boost engagement and strengthens your connection with your community.

The best part?

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Implementing a signature series will save you time from constantly starting from scratch when creating (thinking of new content ideas, new formats, etc.). You’re basically just plugging a new topic or story into your already existing format. And I love that for you.

Tips for coming up with a *bomb* signature series & a few (really good) examples:
